But the rapper has been charged with murder, which has led to speculation about the possibility of him facing the death penalty.
Kay Flock, only 18 years old in 2021, was charged in New York with first-degree murder for allegedly killing a 24-year-old man named Oscar Hernandez.
In addition, he was also charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, both of which are felonies.

Flock murdered a man in a barber shop after the two argued; Flock pointed his gun toward the victim and shot him in the neck and back.
The victim died on the spot; one of the eyewitnesses mentioned that he saw him loading his gun before entering the shop.
The rapper was arrested almost after the week; his poster was published in different places with the sign Wanted.
After getting arrested, he was charged with first-degree murder and illegally possessing a firearm.
But now, the rapper has been transferred to federal custody, where he faces additional charges with five other members of the Sev Side gang.
The rapper founded the Sev Side gang, and the teams were involved in robberies, wire fraud, bank fraud, and acts involving murder and assault.
Flock will next appear at the court on March 9, 2023. This might be his last appearance in court, and he might face lifetime prison or the death penalty.
